Quay - "The Lighting Experience"
After weeks of planning, luminaire manufacturing and preparing customized user control interface we got hands on at the site, to commission the Xicato GalaXi Bluetooth controlled installation using LumiFi App.
We spent few days of testing and adjusting the lighting scenes at different times of the day to get it "just right" before the restaurant's official opening last week.
It is always amazing to work on projects and with clients and designers who are striving to deliver an exceptional outcomes. From the light qualities of Xicato Artist Series LED modules in XIM intelligent package, luminaire positioning and aiming on site, to customized and easy to use controls and user training at the end of the process.
"Lighting plays a big role in a dining experience; when you arrive, you want to be able to read the menu. As the meal progresses so does the lighting, by the end of the night, it’s moody and relaxed," Mr Fink said
With the idea of a transformed customer experience at its core, the newly re-imagined eatery is all about 'a generous dose of humble, personalized hospitality aligned with a sense of understated luxury'.
Therefore, to prevent diners from feeling overwhelmed, staff will learn to individualize service for each guest.
This is done through intimate dining spaces, each of which are looked after individually by a dedicated manager and tables with independently controlled lighting which changes throughout the evening.

'We have added those luxurious items guests didn’t even know they needed.'
