Barangaroo Ferry Wharf opens

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure opened today the first of new ferry wharfs at Barangaroo.

“The completion of the new Barangaroo Wharf is an important milestone for the NSW Government in delivering high quality transport infrastructure to support the Barangaroo development,” Ms Berejiklian said.

“Around 13,000 office workers have already moved into Barangaroo South, and this is expected to grow to 23,000 workers when the precinct is completed in 2021.”

Andrew Constance, Minister for Transport and Infrastructure explained the new wharf will provides improved services and access to and from the CBD.

“The fully-accessible Barangaroo Wharf will help unlock capacity constraints on the ferry network, and commuters will be able to easily connect with the CBD via Wynyard Walk,” Mr Constance said." (Source:
